  • ENEL GREEN POWER NORTH AMERICA REACHES 75% OWNERSHIP OF BUFFALO DUNES WIND FARM

    Enel Green Power North America, Inc. signed an agreement to purchase, from a GE Capital subsidiary, an additional 26% of the company operating the 250 MW Buffalo Dunes wind farm, located in Kansas, for approximately 60 million US dollars.
    The transaction will be closed following approval by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.

  • ENEL GREEN POWER COMPLETES CRISTAL WIND FARM IN BRAZIL

    Cristal is the third and final plant to be completed at the wind power complex with the same name, with a total installed capacity of 90 MW
    The new plant has an installed capacity of 30 MW and is capable of generating more than 145 million kWh per year

  • ENEL GREEN POWER: WORK UNDERWAY ON TWO INNOVATIVE POWER PLANTS IN CHILE AND USA

    In Chile, the innovative project which combines photovoltaic power, a mini-wind turbine generator and a co-generation system for electricity and hot water, coupled with a storage system, will be capable of meeting most of the annual energy needs of the village of Ollagüe.
    In Nevada, USA, a solar thermodynamic plant, which will be integrated with an already operating geothermal power station, already paired with a photovoltaic facility, will be capable of adding around 3 million kWh/year to the output of the current hybrid plant, the first of its kind worldwide.
