Our Plans for the Timber Hills Project

Enel Green Power North America (EGP-NA) has installed three meteorological (MET) towers at the proposed project site. MET towers measure wind velocity to determine whether a site is viable for a wind farm. If the data collected by the MET towers supports the Timber Hills Project, EGP-NA would submit an application for a permit to allow for construction of the proposed 138-megawatt (MW) facility.
Once constructed, the project would have the ability to power approximately 41,400 homes. A full environmental review and analysis, including public input, would be conducted prior to the Shasta County Board of Supervisors making a final decision on the project.
