Formerly known as Erelis Enel, since March 2010 the French subsidiary of Enel Green Power division is named Enel Green Power France.
Enel Green Power is a recognized operator in France, which has built its specific know-how in developing, constructing and operating projects from renewable energy sources. Enel Green Power France develops its projects in agreement with all concerned stakeholders and thus builds its sustainable activity under the best technological and environmental conditions, respectful of the collective interest in its fields of activity.
Based in Lyon and also in Rennes and Troyes, its teams are equipped with all the necessary skills required in the field of renewable energy, including engineering and development. Enel Green Power France also benefits from the synergies and expertise of the group Enel in many areas, especially in wind, solar, hydro, geothermal and biomass. Thanks to all of these assets, it holds a position as a major player in the field of renewable energies in France.
Enel Green Power France now has ten wind farms that are online (170.1 MW) in the departments of Ardèche, Aube, Aveyron, Finistère, Deux-Sèvres, Haute-Marne, and Loire-Atlantique, and has a portfolio of 1,000 MW.
