Further to the Tender Enel Green Power will build two new photovoltaic plants in Brazil for an overall installed capacity of 11 MW. The two plants will be located in Pernambuco State.
The new solar capacity add up to 503 MW from wind and hydro Enel Green Power has already been awarded in previous public tenders launched in the past four years and to 93 MW of hydro the company has already installed in Brazil.
It is the fourth loan agreement signed with EKF, Denmarks Export Credit Agency, in the last three years, for a total amount of more than 500 million euros.
With a total installed capacity of 90 MW, the plant will be able to generate more than 200 GWh per year
An overall investment of approx. 170 million US dollars was required to construct the wind farm
Once constructed, the Dominica I plant, with an installed capacity of 100 MW, will be able to generate up to 260 GWh per year
A total investment of approx. 196 million US dollars is expected to construct the plant
The operation follows on a total of 600 million euros in funding agreements from the last three years and is a sign of EIB confidence in Enel Green Powers investments in the sector.
The contracts will allow to sell up to an overall 4,159 GWh at a price of 128 US dollars per MWh.
Following the award, the Enel Green Power Group will construct in Chile three new power plants for an overall capacity equal to 161 MW. The plants will be located in Chiles Central Region Transmission Network (SIC, from its Spanish acronym).
The construction of the new plants requires an overall investment of approx. 320 million US dollars
