  • ENEL GREEN POWER AWARDED MULTI-YEAR CONTRACTS TO SUPPLY ENERGY TO CHILE’S REGULATED MARKET

    The contracts will allow to sell up to an overall 4,159 GWh at a price of 128 US dollars per MWh.
    Following the award, the Enel Green Power Group will construct in Chile three new power plants for an overall capacity equal to 161 MW. The plants will be located in Chile’s Central Region Transmission Network (SIC, from its Spanish acronym).
    The construction of the new plants requires an overall investment of approx. 320 million US dollars

 
 
 
  • ENEL GREEN POWER: NEW PHOTOVOLTAIC PLANT ENTERS SERVICE IN ROMANIA

    The Podari plant, which has entered service shortly after the Colibasi photovoltaic park came on line, has a total installed capacity of 10 MW and will be able to generate about 12 million KWh a year
    As a result, EGP’s total installed solar capacity in the country increases to about 36 MW

 
  • ENEL GREEN POWER: WORK BEGINS ON NEW WIND FARM IN THE USA

    The Origin Wind Power Project to be constructed in Oklahoma will have a total installed capacity of 150 MW and will be able to generate up to around 650 GWh of power per year.
    Construction of the plant requires a total investment of approx. 250 million US dollars.

    Total revenues: 2,053 million euros (1,733 million euros as of September 30th, 2012, +18.5%)
    EBITDA: 1,310 million euros (1,115 million euros as of September 30th, 2012,+17.5%)
    EBIT: 770 million euros (659 million euros as of September 30th, 2012,+16.8%)
    Group net income: 407 million euros (278 million euros as of September 30th, 2012, +46.4%; net of the result of discontinued operations amounting to 62 million euros, +23.7%)
    Net financial debt: 5,665 million euros (4,614 million euros as of December 31st, 2012,+22.8%)
    Net installed capacity: 8.7 GW (7.6 GW as of September 30th, 2012, +14.5%)
