In recent history, Enel Green Power North America Inc. implemented a $1.6 million capital expenditure program at Sheldon Springs Hydroelectric Project. The program successfully improved the output and efficiency of the site. Improvements included intake modifications, turbine and generator efficiency improvements, upgrading of controls, and adjustments to winter operations in connection with icing conditions.
