The Boston Business Journal includes Enel Green Power North America among the largest clean energy companies in the American state for the second consecutive year.

For the second consecutive year, EGP North America has been named one of Massachusetts’ Largest Clean Energy Companies by the Boston Business Journal. This year the company moved up three spots to rank fourth on the list among the top 25 largest renewable energy companies throughout the state.

“We are honored to once again be selected among the largest clean energy companies in Massachusetts”, said Rafael Gonzalez, CEO of EGP-North America.

In 2000, EGP-NA entered the Massachusetts market with the acquisition of a small portfolio of hydropower plants. Now, the company employs nearly 220 people across five locations including its headquarters in Andover and four hydropower sites.

“This year’s ranking reflects our continued growth and investment in the state, which is a central hub of activity for our company and where we established our company’s U.S. roots over 15 years ago.”
