Aristotelis Chantavas is the Head of Europe region in Enel Green Power (EGP).
As of March 2020, Aristotelis also holds the position of President at SolarPower Europe.
Aristotelis joined the Enel Group in November 2018. He has a diverse background in the management of different types of renewables projects, varying in both size and type.
He started his professional career in Renewable Energy in EDF as a Projects’ Director, where he managed EDF’s investment project finance and grants in the Greek market, as well as the projects’ development and construction phases. He then joined GES, where he started from commencing its business in Greece, developed his career taking over the leadership in the South-East Europe region and later he moved to the US to lead the company’s entire US operations. Afterward, he headed Robur Group in USA starting from scratch its operations in the country as well as leading its M&A activities in the Energy, Manufacturing and Industrial sectors.
Aristotelis graduated in Civil Engineering from Democritus University of Thrace and holds an MSc in Engineering Business Management from University of Warwick, with further specialization in Entrepreneurial Studies at Harvard University.
He speaks English and Italian, and has a basic knowledge of German and Spanish. He is married, with two children.
