The Rockhaven wind project is located in Murray and Carter counties, Oklahoma. It is adjacent to the Origin wind farm which Enel Green Power has operated since 2015. Its 49 wind turbines will produce approximately 662 GWh of energy annually and will avoid more than 381,000 tons of C02 emissions a year. The project is expected to enter into commercial operation by the end of 2021.
Enel Green Power is committed to creating long-term shared value and opportunities for rural economic development and long-term sustainability in its host communities. In partnership with Total Beverage and Total Environment, we donated two full pallets of drinking water to the nearby Ratliff and Lone Grove communities when they lost electricity and water for days due to a winter storm. Enel Green Power provided $22,000 in support to the Hennepin Fire Department to purchase PPE and wildland firefighting gear, ensuring local first responders have the equipment they need to protect both our employees and the community at large. Enel Green Power also provided much-needed masks and hand sanitizer to the Ratliff Senior Citizen Center.

When we build projects, we closely monitor sustainability performance for energy, waste and water management, and the economic impact on the local community. We deploy innovative tools and techniques when building wind farms, such as construction machinery equipped with active safety systems, smart tracking, advanced digital platforms and tablet software solutions to monitor and remotely support site activities, as well as plant commissioning. These processes and tools will enable swifter, more accurate and reliable data collection, thereby improving the quality of construction and facilitating communication between on-site and off-site teams. Smart glasses, remote assistant applications, 360 cameras and drones are used to conduct virtual site visits and safety inspections.
