We take second place in the Renewable Energy Cup Yacht Race

Members of our Sydney office joined more than 400 industry professionals for the Renewable Energy Cup Yacht Race in March to raise money for the Australian Marine Conservation Society. The Renewable Energy Cup Charity Yacht Race is an opportunity for the sector and its supporters to get together, raise money for a worthy cause and celebrate the success and strength of Australia’s renewable energy industry. We continued our commitment as Gold Sponsor for the event in its second year, in addition to taking second place in the race. The race welcomed more than 400 people from 100 different organizations across 37 boats each competing for the title. It took place in the iconic Sydney Harbour in almost perfect weather conditions. The race was out of the Middle Harbour Yacht Club, and ended with a dinner on the beach, drinks and musical entertainment for all attendees. A great cause The Renewable Energy Cup donated the proceeds for this year’s race to the Australian Marine Conservation Society, raising $50,000 which will go towards protecting Australia’s beautiful ocean environments.
