The Collarmele wind farm is situated on Mount Coppetella (Monte Coppetella), between the municipalities of Collarmele and those of Cerchio and Pescina, in the province of L'Aquila, in the Abruzzo region. It is located in the vicinity of the Sirente-Velino regional natural park and the Fucino plain.
