Our last coal-fired power plant in Chile has been shut down

By disconnecting Unit II of the Bocamina power plant, we have become the first company in the South American country to stop generating coal-fired energy, 18 years ahead of national plans. The energy transition also affects the local community: the plant employees will be relocated, while a forest will be planted in place of the ash landfill.
