Luca Solfaroli Camillocci

Head of Italy

Luca Solfaroli Camillocci is the Head of Italy for Enel Green Power and Thermal Generation, Enel’s business line for energy generation from conventional and renewable sources. He is also sole administrator f Enel Green Power Italy and Enel Produzione SpA.

Following experience at other companies in the industrial and energy sectors, he joined the Generation and Energy Management Division of Enel in 1998, where he stayed until 2008, first as Head of Management Control and, starting in 2002, as Head of the Planning and Control department. In 2008, he became Head of the Business Strategic Development and Improvement Area in the Generation and Energy Management Division and Mercato Italia, with the task of ensuring the Strategic Planning of the Division, managing the main extraordinary measures and the Division’s strategic operational improvement projects.

From 2010 to 2017, he was the Head of Customer Service for the Italy Division, in charge of operational management and customer care for all Enel’s free and captive market customers in Italy. At this time, he was also a Director of Enel Energia, Enel Servizio Elettrico and Smart Paper.

In June 2017, he was named Head of Thermal Generation Italy and CEO of Enel Produzione SpA, responsible for managing Enel’s entire thermoelectric production fleet in Italy. Since October 2019 he has held the current position of Head of Italy for Enel Global Power Generation.

Born in La Spezia, he received a degree in Chemical Engineering with honors from the University of Pisa in 1995. In 1997, he completed a Master’s in Energy and Environment Management and Economics.
