Cleaner water in the Samalá River

Thanks to a circular economy project, almost seven tons of plastic be removed from the Samalá River. Not only did this help decontaminate the river, it also provided material for the construction of a community tourism center in the village of Chilascó, in Baja Verapaz, Guatemala.
