Born in Rome and married with three children, he studied Business Economics at “La Sapienza” Unversity of Rome and then obtained the qualification to be a Chartered Accountant and Auditor.
He gained experience in roles of increasing responsibility in the Administration, Finance and Control departments of companies in different industries (petrolchemical, telecommunications and energy) and in several geographical areas (Europe, North America and South America).
He previously held the role of Planning and Control Manager at the Telecom Italia S.p.A. Group (1998-2003) in Latin American countries (Argentina, Chile and Bolivia), at the Impsat Corporación (1995-1998) in Buenos Aires (Argentina) and at Enichem Elastomers (1989-1995) in Milan (Italy), Southampton (UK) and Houston (USA).
Some of the positions he held in these areas included Board Member at the Entel Group Chile, Entel PCS, Entel Telefonia Personal and Nortel Inversora.
He joined Enel in 2004, first in Planning and Control, dealing with project financing and the disposal of non-strategic assets and then in Internal Audit Management. There, over the years, he was responsible for the internal control system on financial reporting (compliance Sarbanes Oxley Act - L. 262/05), the activities of IA area Eastern Europe and finally, in the last three years, the Direction of IA for Endesa, located in Madrid.
Since March 2019, he’s been Enel Green Power’s Internal Audit Manager.
