About the project

High Chaparral Solar + Storage Project

High Chaparral is a 152 MW solar project that will provide sustainable, affordable energy and have a positive economic impact on Brazoria County, Texas.

  • The High Chaparral Project is expected to provide approximately $20 million in local tax revenue that can be used to fund schools and infrastructure, thus directly benefiting the community
  • The project will create local jobs during and after construction through facility maintenance
  • The project will generate zero polluting emissions, protect local habitats, and promote clean air and water
  • Solar energy is considered low impact in terms of land use and will not harm surrounding farmland

Our team collaborates with local community members and officials on every project in order to help generate value for everyone involved. Your input is valued and encouraged. Please don’t hesitate to contact Development Manager Celeste Doll with any questions about the project.
