Aristotelis Chantavas graduated in Civil Engineering from Democritus University of Thrace and holds an MSc in Engineering Business Management from University of Warwick, with further specialization in Entrepreneurial Studies at Harvard University.
Aristotelis joined the Enel Group in November 2018 and is currently the Head of Rest of Europe region (Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, Germany, Russia, Turkey) in Enel Green Power (EGP). He has a diverse background in the management of different types of renewables projects, varying in both size and type.
He started his professional career in Renewable Energy in EDF as a Projects’ Director, where he managed EDF’s investment project finance and grants in the Greek market, as well as the projects’ development and construction phases. He then joined GES, where he started from commencing its business in Greece, developed his career taking over the leadership in the South-East Europe region and later he moved to the US to lead the company’s entire US operations. Afterward, he headed Robur Group in USA starting from scratch its operations in the country as well as leading its M&A activities in the Energy, Manufacturing and Industrial sectors.
He speaks English and Spanish, and has a basic knowledge of German. He is married with two children.
