Olathe Solar + Storage Project
Enel Green Power is developing a 140 MW solar + 70 MW storage project that will provide sustainable, affordable energy and positive economic impact to Montrose, Colorado.
There are a few key ways the Olathe Solar Project will generate benefits for Montrose County:
- The Olathe Project is estimated to provide over $22.5 million in new local output during the construction process
- The project will create several full-time jobs and around 200 construction jobs in Montrose County during and after construction to maintain the facility
- The project will generate zero polluting emissions, protect local habitats and promote clean air and water
- Solar is considered low-impact land use and will not harm surrounding farmland
Our team collaborates with local community members and officials on every project to help generate value for everyone involved. Your input is valued and encouraged. Please don’t hesitate to contact Development Manager Emily Brumit with any questions about the project.
