Anthony Elliott

Anthony Elliott writes about identity, society, globalization and the digital revolution. His research has had a lasting impact upon social theory and sociology worldwide. Professor Elliott is Dean of External Engagement and Executive Director of the Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence and Network at the University of South Australia, where he is Research Professor of Sociology.  He is also SuperGlobal Professor of Sociology (Visiting) at Keio University, Japan and Visiting Professor of Sociology at University College Dublin, Ireland.  His recent books include Making Sense of AI: Our Algorithmic World (2022), Algorithmic Intimacy: The Digital Revolution in Personal Relationships (2022) and La cultura dell’Intelligenza artificiale.
